Paper towels are rather expensive and wasteful, but buying kitchen towels can be very expensive. One time when we were at Costco we grabbed a package of 50 cheap white towels (they were $20 or $25). Some we’ve thrown away because they were so gross (like the ones I used to wash the [...]

Today was Box Day! We got Sonlight Core 2. There’s nothing like box day. Getting lots of new books is just so nice. I just love going through them and putting the labels on them.

(Fritz is currently 29 months old.)
This week Fritz learned about horses.

He learned about the color brown and the number 14. He counted out 14 counting animals.

And put 14 stickers on the 14th page of his counting book.

He helped us put in more of the living room floor.

He played with his new Melissa and Doug [...]

Today we went to Giant and got 23 pounds of boneless skinless chicken breast - all they had - on sale for $1.79 a pound. I cut it up and FoodSavered it in packages for 15 meals. I also made 4 packages of ground beef and 6 packages of stew beef
